Cup Winners!

Under–16 girls football team

The winning team.

The Under-16 girls football team travelled to Thorpe St. Andrew to play in the cup final against Diss High School on Wednesday 6th. February 2008.

After beating them in the league 6–2 it was clear that they had improved their efforts in the first few minutes.

It was quite an even match during the first half and this finished at 1–1 with an excellent goal from Diss and a great finish by Camilla Munro for Hethersett.

Both teams started the second half with a real desire to win but as Diss ran out of steam Hethersett remained constant. After several attempts at goal Camilla Munro scored again making it 2–1.

All the girls had an excellent game and really worked hard for each other as a team.

Well done to all on a great achievement.
