Hethersett High School is located in the village of Hethersett about 5.5 miles (9 kilometres) from the city of Norwich.

From Norwich
Take the A11 south east towards Thetford continuing to the A11/A47 junction then take the third exit (Thickthorn Services) off the roundabout into Norwich Road, the B1172 signposted Hethersett.
Continue along the B1172 for approximately 2 miles (3 kilometres) into Hethersett. After the church on your left-hand side take the first turning right, then bear right at the Queen's Head Public House onto Queen's Road.
After turning into Queen’s Road, continue past Hethersett Junior School on your right hand side and approximately 200m later turn right beside the library onto the High School driveway.
From Thetford
Take the A11 signposted Norwich. Continue to just past Wymondham then bear left onto the B1135 signposted Wymondham, Dereham
At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the B1135 (signposted Dereham) then at the next roundabout the third exit onto the B1172.
On reaching Hethersett continue past the Hethersett Old Hall School on your right then take the first left onto Norwich Road.
Continue to the Queens Head Public House and immediately turn left onto Queens Road.
After turning into Queen’s Road, continue past Hethersett Junior School on your right hand side and approximately 200m later turn right beside the library onto the High School driveway.
